We were always out by the lake. That's what I remember. At your parents house. Sometimes we would go up north and go on a lake. We made so many promises that we couldn't keep. Because time flew by and got the better of us. It was the sweetest and most selfless thing I've ever seen him do. Give up probably the best thing that's ever happened to him so you could be with your kids. One of the promises was that we would build an ice cream parlor in the basement. We never did that. Then he painted over the sketch of the ice cream cone on the wall. Like it was no big deal. But that day, I realized something. You were gone for good.

Disco, Brisk and Other Stuff

Y'all are lucky! I never write journals but you guys get two! YAY! Okay, so I'm like totally obsessed with old songs now, like September- E,W&F Get Up Offa That Thing- Mr. James Brown (the ORIGINAL J.B. FOOLS) Eleanor Rigby- The Beatles (Eh, I've always liked this song) If you guys have any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to look them up and see if they deem themselves worthy of being on my iPod.
